Job Details

Job Title: Epic ECSA Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Epic ECSA Analyst to lead and support interface development and data integration efforts across our Epic ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Epic Bridges and ECSA (External Communication Systems Architecture) and a proven track record of building, maintaining, and optimizing Epic interfaces with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain HL7 and other data interfaces using Epic Bridges and ECSA tools
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth data exchange
  • Troubleshoot interface-related issues, ensuring data accuracy, stability, and performance
  • Participate in integration planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support
  • Support interface testing, change management, and Epic upgrades
  • Document interface specifications, workflows, and technical processes

Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Bridges and/or ECSA certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Epic interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, XML, and other data standards
  • Proficiency with interface engines (e.g., Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth) is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex integration issues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with API integrations and web services in Epic
  • Familiarity with broader Epic modules and data structures
  • Background in healthcare IT, data interoperability, or systems integration
