We are seeking an experienced Global Network Operations Transport NCC Tier I Technician -Denver, CO (On-site) with deep expertise in Multi-Cloud Landing Zone to lead and deliver end-to-end enterprise transformation. You ll be working directly with client stakeholders to guide them through requirements, configuration, integration, and post-go-live support.

Job Title: Global Network Operations Transport NCC Tier I Technician

Location: Denver, CO(Onsite)

Position Description:

The Transport Network Control Center (NCC) Technician will monitor and maintain Layer 1 (Fiber, SONET, and Wave) network equipment via applicable EMS and NMS applications. The role involves diagnosing and repairing network and customer impairments and outages, as well as directing client field personnel to execute diagnosis and complete repairs.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Fault Management:

  • Monitor network equipment and facilities for alarms and performance issues.
  • Perform transport equipment and EMS fault isolation and repair.
  • Customer Support:
  • Accept and manage customer trouble calls for circuit issues.
  • Isolate fault locations and resolve issues if on the Client network.
  • Provide regular status updates to customers on circuit issues.
  • Workload and Materials Management:
  • Ensure all equipment alarms and tickets are properly captioned and addressed.
  • Actively monitor the network and transition unresolved issues to other NCC shifts as necessary.
  • Create part requests and coordinate with logistics and field teams for spare part delivery and replacement.

Technical Collaboration and Escalation:

  • Support other NCC technicians with troubleshooting.
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier II/Tier III/TAC as needed.
  • Engage equipment vendor support and internal teams for advanced troubleshooting.

Ticket Management:

  • Open, manage, and resolve network trouble tickets.
  • Ensure prompt response and resolution to alarms and ticket issues.
  • Provide clear and concise internal and external customer updates throughout the lifecycle of the trouble ticket.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of telecommunication networks.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Adaptability to evolving tasks and priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft and/or G Suite applications.
