Job Overview

How You Will Make An Impact:

• Assisting in running Network and fiber cables both inside and outside the MDF/IDF
• Maintaining a secure work environment, (cleanliness and safety guidelines)
• Assisting in critical network infrastructure environment maintenance tasks
• Correctly label racks/IDFs
• Following existing methods of procedure (MOP)
• Handling patching requests copper and fiber
• IDF clean-up hygiene tasks at assigned location(s)
• Supporting projects requested by manager
• Testing and troubleshoot basic copper and fiber links
• Testing and troubleshoot complex multipoint circuits
• 80 % travel with in the Bay Area

What You Will Need To Succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 0-1 years experience with fiber and copper patching
• Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must have reliable/personal transportation
• Keen attention to detail is required
• Ability to read and understand maps/diagrams
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds
• Able to work on a ladder at 20' high

Preferred:

• Certifications in technology specific areas, networking, or management preferred
• Certifications preferred: A+, N+, S+, (CompTIA Certs), MCP
• OSHA-10
• Boom/Scissor lift

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $22.00/Hr. and is a Non-Exempt role.

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
