Walker Healthforce is seeking a Workday Consultant with 5 years experience to support a healthcare client remotely. This is a 3-month contract opportunity.
RATE RANGE: $52 - $55
START DATE: August 4, 2025
HOURS/SCHEDULE: M-F; 8AM - 5PM CST

WORKER TYPE: Full-Time
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Recruiting and/or Talent Administrator, with extensive experience configuring Business Processes, Questionnaires, Agencies, Goal Setting, Performance Reviews, Disciplinary Action Templates, Talent Review, Talent Calibration, Career Profiles, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Systems Administration, including configuration and troubleshooting within the Recruiting and Talent modules.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot issues independently, identifying root causes and providing timely resolutions.
- Strong documentation skills to ensure clear and thorough records of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting.
- Rapid development of proof of concepts to demonstrate potential solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical documentation and configurations.
- End-to-end experience implementing Workday functionality and modules, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Significant experience creating Workday reports.
- Workday Pro Recruiting & Workday Pro Talent Certification.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide project support by configuring and implementing Business Processes (BPs) within Workday, particularly for Recruiting and Talent modules.
- Develop and execute test plans, create test cases, and support the testing process for system enhancements and changes.
- Implement system enhancements, including the creation of calculated fields and validation rules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in both project and production environments.
- Document workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Conduct ad-hoc quality audits to ensure the effective performance of Workday systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor IT tickets, cases, and production issues to provide timely resolution and ensure the smooth operation of Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Performance modules.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of Workday functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate customer requirements into technical documentation.
- Manage competing priorities, ensuring that project deadlines and production support needs are met.
