Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Analyst in the transportation technology consulting industry in New York City. This role offers a blend of on-site and remote work options. As a Hardware Analyst, you will be involved in various Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects, collaborating with team members in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

Engage with regional and national stakeholders to develop concept of operations documents, capturing their transportation needs
Craft high-level designs for ITS deployments
Generate detailed designs for ITS and connected vehicle communication standards
Validate and verify ITS and connected vehicle communication standards, including crafting test documentation
Manage and maintain regional ITS architectures, involving the development of hyper-linked web pages
Ensure quality control and manage transit service datasets
Develop and deliver training courses on specific ITS topics
Participate in occasional business travel to engage with clients and stakeholders
Extract requirements for specifications and ITS standards based on client and stakeholder transportation needs

Requirements

Proficient knowledge in Computer Hardware, including the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with an understanding of electrical systems and their components.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex hardware systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
Familiarity with hardware testing procedures and debugging.
Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate hardware-related issues and solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to keep up with the latest trends and advancements in computer hardware technology.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
