Title Pega Senior System Architect
Location-Onsite @ Charlotte, NC

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pega System Architect to design, build, and support enterprise-grade Pega applications in a SaaS-based environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Pega application development, system integrations, design governance, and application support, along with the ability to train and mentor both onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Pega applications aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Architect and build integration solutions using REST, SOAP, APIs, message queues, and external systems
- Support SaaS-based Pega implementations, including cloud deployments and environment management
- Provide application support, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and enterprise standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Lead and participate in technical design sessions and solution architecture discussions
- Develop reusable components and frameworks to improve delivery efficiency
- Train, mentor, and guide onshore and offshore development teams on Pega best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment activities
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform (PRPC)
- Pega System Architect (CSA/SSA) certification required; LSA is a plus
- Experience working in SaaS and cloud-based environments
- Expertise in Pega integrations (REST, SOAP, Connectors, Services, APIs)
- Strong experience in application support and production issue resolution
- Proven ability to conduct design reviews and code quality assessments
- Experience mentoring and training distributed (onshore/offshore) teams
- Solid understanding of Pega guardrails, performance tuning, and security best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pega Customer Service, Case Management, or BPM implementations
- Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD pipelines in Pega environments
- Experience in regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
