Oracle Financials Fusion Tech Lead

Our customer is modernizing its financial systems as part of a broader initiative to transition from IFRS17 to U.S. GAAP standards, in alignment with its global parent company. We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Financials ERP Tech Lead to lead the GAAP workstream within this transformation. This role will operate in parallel with the Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, scheduled to go live on January 1, 2026, and will focus on enabling a compliant and efficient migration to GAAP-based financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the GAAP workstream within the Oracle Cloud Financials ERP program, ensuring alignment with the overall implementation strategy and timeline.
Collaborate with finance, compliance, and technology teams to define and execute the transition from IFRS17 to U.S. GAAP standards.
Serve as the subject matter expert for GAAP reporting and its integration into Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including Fusion Accounting Hub, General Ledger, and Master Data Management.
Work closely with the System Integrator (SI) vendor, holding them accountable for execution, deliverables, and adherence to GAAP-specific requirements.
Review vendor outputs and ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and project standards.
Design and validate GAAP-specific reporting controls and ensure audit readiness.
Lead technical design sessions and oversee development activities related to GAAP reporting and financial data conversion.
Support deployment and post-production activities, ensuring stability and compliance of GAAP reporting processes.
Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on GAAP workstream progress, risks, and milestones.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, with a strong focus on Accounting Hub and General Ledger.
3+ years of experience leading ERP workstreams involving accounting standard transitions (e.g., IFRS to GAAP).
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS17 standards and their implications for financial reporting.
Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
