Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid - 3 days)

• Administrating Oracle 9i10g11g 12c and 19c databases on both standalone and RAC systems
• Expert in installation and setup Oracle RAC grid infrastructure implemented many 2 node RAC Systems across versions independently recently implemented Oracle 19c RAC
• Experience in configuring ASM database creation and managing ASM disks
• Performing premigration tasks in Oracle RAC server failover database connections HA testing etc
• Migrated huge size databases with less down time using Extended Data Guard setup
• Handling backup and recovery strategies using RMAN Datapump EXPIMP utilities
• Creation of Standby databases Oracle Data guard monitoring standby sync status with primary
• Administration Implementation of physical standby Data Guard for disaster recovery
• Experience in database schema and table refreshes from prod to nonprod with Data pump export import utilities
• Experience in handling database performance issues with diagnostic tools such as AWR ADDMASH explain plan wait events locks stats collection SQL profiling SQL tuning advisory creation rebuild indexes if required
• Experience in TDE data encryption
• Experience in Goldengate replication setup configure
• Supporting for major deployment activities by creating flashback restore points and rollback database to restore point in case of issues in deployment
• Configuring server and database monitoring for all servers and database in OEM
• Experience in database migration with RMAN Data pump and XTTS method with minimal downtime
• Experience in UNIX, LINUX, shell scripting and programming
• Handson experience in working on DR drill activity various times and ensuring that activity is completed perfectly
• Configure backup monitoring housekeeping alerts and documentation as part of migration projects
• Monitoring the Alert logs for any errors warnings and provided corrective action if required
• Installation of oracle client in the application server and adding up TNS entries for DB connectivity
