Job Description:
Position: IT Category Management Senior Consultant
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 11+ months contract position
Client: Direct Client
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Individual must have 7-9 years experiences in all facets of IT Procurement, including all commodities of IT such as Software, Hardware & Services.
- Broad-based experience across supply chain, with particular focus in purchasing, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, competitive price analysis, supplier relationship management and performance management
- Organization skills with ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Indirect Procurement Experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence in a cross-functional environment with all levels of executive management.
- Effective written and oral communications
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools, i.e., Microsoft PowerBI
- Converting information into tangible to recommendations to our stakeholders
- Proven analytical skills in terms of analysis, converting information into tangible recommendations for our stakeholders.
- Proficiency with procurement data, analysis and identifying insights within data.
- Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management and Vendor Management preferred.
- Familiarity with various aspects of Artificial Intelligence.
