Job Details

Job Title: SAP MM Expert with CSFG (Cross-System Flow of Goods)
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote or Hybrid option available)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Cross-System Flow of Goods (CSFG) for an initial short-term engagement with potential long-term extension. The consultant will support SAP America in delivering optimized logistics, material movements, and supply chain integration across multiple SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM functionalities related to procurement, inventory management, and logistics execution.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in CSFG, ensuring smooth goods movement and document flow across system boundaries (e.g., between SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC or other legacy systems).
  • Configure and support stock transport orders (STOs), intercompany processes, and cross-company code transactions.
  • Support integration with SAP SD, WM, EWM, and FI modules to ensure end-to-end process efficiency.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, develop functional specifications, and work closely with development teams to implement enhancements.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including logistics, procurement, and finance to gather requirements and ensure smooth operations.
  • Deliver documentation including functional design documents, configuration guides, and training materials.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
  • Proven experience with Cross-System Flow of Goods (CSFG) configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing.
  • Strong knowledge of intercompany STOs, third-party procurement, and logistics execution processes.
  • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with ECC-CSFG integration scenarios.
  • Solid understanding of IDoc/ALE, document flow, and system communication protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP EWM or SAP SD modules.
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, or supply chain-heavy industries
