Job Title: User Experience Design Specialist

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a User Experience Design Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible for applications/systems designs, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, according to business requirements and technical limitations.

Expectations and Tasks:

Design the functionality of the required features and ensure great user experience while iterating upon it in accordance with user feedback and other research opportunities. Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Utilize basic research findings to inform your designs. Make design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs. Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients. Work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications. Collaborate and communicate closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval. Resolve user pain points through great design.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Graphic Design with a focus in User Exp. & Web, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Graphic Design with a focus in User Exp. & Web, or a related field of study.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Prior experience, internship or academic coursework must include each of the following:

• Prototyping tools, including Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, and Axure;

• Apply user research principles and analyze qualitative and quantitative data;

• Iterate designs based upon research, data, and findings;

• HTML and CSS;

• Responsive Web Design, Web Interfaces, and Cloud Applications;

• Conceptualization processes including sketching, wireframing, and paper prototyping; and

• Visual and Interaction design standards.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $76,410 - $129,870. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $84,900 - $144,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
