Job Details
Our Local County Government client is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Techno-Functional Consultant / Application Developer to support the implementation and ongoing operations of Workday HCM and Financial systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Workday integrations, configuration, reporting, and post-production support, working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :
Workday Development & Configuration
- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and SOAP/REST web services.
- Configure and maintain Workday business process frameworks, calculated fields, condition rules, and custom validations.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain custom Workday reports.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application, integration, and data-related issues.
Integration Management
- Create and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party systems, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance applications.
- Monitor scheduled integrations and proactively resolve failures, errors, or data inconsistencies.
- Document integration designs, configurations, data mappings, and workflows.
- Optimize existing integrations to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational, management, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective Workday reporting solutions.
- Automate report scheduling and distribution for end users and stakeholders.
Support & Collaboration
- Provide ongoing technical support to agency and end users.
- Maintain system documentation, including design specifications, workflows, configuration guides, and integration documentation.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to ensure Workday functionality aligns with business processes.
- Participate in change control, configuration management, and release management processes.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements, break/fix issues, and change requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience supporting or administering enterprise systems such as Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, Reporting, and Web Services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financial systems.
- Proven experience in Workday implementation or post-production support as a primary technical resource.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues.
- Excellent understanding of end-to-end business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong professional relationships.
- Experience maintaining the security and confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary data.
- Workday certification(s) or equivalent practical experience is highly preferred.
