Description:
HigherEchelon is seeking a highly experienced Signal Mobile Advanced Readiness Trainer to join our team. The candidate will deliver technically intensive, scenario-based training in support of the Mobile Advanced Readiness Training (MART) program. The ideal candidate is a U.S. Army 255-series Warrant Officer (CW2 or higher preferred) or a senior Signal expert with deep knowledge of C2 FIX architecture, Army tactical networks, and integrated cyber tools.
This role blends classroom instruction, tactical fieldwork, and network system integration-requiring agility, operational insight, and a commitment to delivering results that elevate unit readiness.
Up to 25% travel to the following locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Johnson, Fort Campbell, and Schofield Barracks.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver mission-relevant instruction on C2 FIX systems including MUOS, RAPTR, TSM, TSI Stacks,
Elastic, Endgame, IMB2, Palo Alto firewalls, TAK Server, and ICE.
Conduct both classroom and field-based training events aligned to experiential learning principles.
Guide participants through hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and integration of advanced
tactical communications and cyber systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert for unit-level training, network hardening, and technical
mentorship.
Apply the MART framework to ensure trainees gain proficiency in edge device configuration, signal
flow analysis, and cyber readiness.
Collaborate with MART program leadership to update training content and course documentation in
accordance with TRADOC 350-70.
Required Skills:
Proven experience configuring and operating:
Strong understanding of the OSI model, fault isolation, and network troubleshooting
Ability to independently remediate Layer 1/2/3 network faults
Skilled in technical communication with Division-level NOSCs and mission stakeholders
Experience mentoring and instructing Signal Soldiers in field and classroom environments
Willingness and ability to travel to remote CONUS locations for 2-week training rotations
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to the following locations: Fort Bragg, Fort Johnson, Fort
Campbell, and Schofield Barracks.
Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible preferred)
Desired Skills:
Experience supporting Army modernization, ITN fielding, or new equipment training
Familiarity with MMC-S, Nett Warrior, CPCE, and TRIK platforms
Understanding of LDIF and S-MART data architecture concepts
Prior TRADOC instructional or doctrine development experience
Signal Digital Master Gunner Graduate (SDMG)
Education and Experience:
Former 255A/S/N Warrant Officer (CW2 or higher strongly preferred), or
equivalent senior Signal NCO or contractor with 5+ years of tactical network
