Job Details

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assess comprehensive training needs to plan, prepare, and rollout a statewide training program for the state's new Voter Registration and Election Management System.
  • Organize and promote training schedules with the various counties.
  • Develop and deliver programs of learning activities.
  • Prepare for delivering course materials.
  • Instruct users on an individual or group basis.
  • Learn the system usage patterns based on user stories and course materials to serve as a key resource for system users.

Required Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Four (4) years of experience developing and delivering systems or software training programs.
  • Certified Technical Trainer or equivalent

Required Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively liaison with solution vendor, stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of voter registration and election management solutions.
  • Ability to conduct engaging remote learning sessions via Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to travel to remote locations in person training sessions.
  • Ability to follow instructions, to prioritize tasks and manage a schedule to deliver training services that meet project milestone objectives.
  • Provide our users with an optimal learning experience.
  • Ability to understand and support end user training needs at varying levels of seniority and technical ability.
  • Provide excellent customer service, consult and communicate clearly and effectively (orally and in writing), and develop positive relationships that generate a collaborative working environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to meet agency requirements.
  • Understanding of and ability to apply the most appropriate modern training standards and practices.
