We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the Customer Hub (CHUB) team in DSG's Customer domain, with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering, platform enablement, and developer experience (DevEx). In this hands-on role, you'll be a key driver of our platform modernization efforts-building resilient
infrastructure, automating operational workflows, and enabling seamless development and deployment experiences for product teams. You will craft and implement tooling, frameworks, and environments that empower engineers to ship reliable code at scale, with confidence and speed.
You'll collaborate across engineering, SRE, and platform (Nascar) teams to drive
infrastructure-as-code, observability, CI/CD best practices, and system reliability. You'll also play a leadership role in advocating engineering standards, mentoring peers, and shaping the next generation of our customer platform ecosystem.

Base Pay Range: $113,600 - $205,000

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support scalable, reliable systems and platforms that enable high-confidence software delivery across teams.'
- Translate business and functional requirements into well-structured technical specifications and automated solutions.
- Develop and test infrastructure, services, and tools using modern CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Drive automation across the stack-from build and deployment workflows to monitoring and incident response.
- Lead design and code reviews, ensuring quality, performance, and operational readiness.
- Partner with SRE, product, and platform (Nascar) teams to improve system reliability, observability, and developer experience.
- Contribute to crafting engineering practices through active mentorship, documentation, and internal sharing of knowledge and standard processes.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in production support rotations, assisting with incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Estimate engineering effort and timelines, communicate progress, and surface risks proactively.
- Stay ahead of emerging tools and technologies to evolve platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
Desired Experience and Skills
- 4-7 years of engineering experience with a strong focus on reliability, automation, and platform scalability.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Proficient in building cloud-native applications using Spring Boot or similar frameworks; well-versed in containerization technologies such as Docker and K8s.
- Hands-on experience with SRE practices including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.
- Comfortable working across multiple programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Shell scripting, SQL).
- Proven understanding of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, data modeling, and integration with polyglot persistence stores.'
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and managing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or VMware.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery, SDLC tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and engineering teamwork platforms.'
- A track record of mentoring team members and advocating for engineering standard processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across
multi-functional teams.
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field-or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, or DevOps/SRE practices are a strong plus.
- Continued education through technical courses, bootcamps, or open-source contributions is also valued.
