Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst / Data Analyst with strong SQL and data analysis experience. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical teams to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that support business decisions. The ideal candidate will be very strong in writing SQL, comfortable working with large datasets, and able to clearly explain findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in data driven environments.
Very strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and performance tuning.
Proven experience analyzing large datasets and validating data for accuracy and completeness.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data summaries for business users.
Strong understanding of data models, data flows, and business rules.
Excellent communication skills to work with business and technical teams.
Ability to gather and document requirements and translate them into data solutions.
Experience working in Agile or fast paced project environments is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into data and reporting needs.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across systems and reports.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for leadership and business teams.
Document business requirements, data definitions, and process flows.
Partner with engineering and data teams to support data driven initiatives.
Present findings and insights in a clear and simple way to both technical and non technical users.
Support data quality, governance, and ongoing improvement efforts.
