About The Role:
This is a Scientific Software development position on-site at our customer site Carderock in West Bethesda, MD.
This position will be responsible for the following:
Maintenance, development, and testing of a large-scale C# application that performs acoustic modeling of large scale structures.
Daily interaction with USN customers to review priorities, development status, and emergent issues
Assist users ranging from PhD power users to beginners with questions and issues on the software
Work with USN IA personnel on security and Authority to Operate questions
Qualifications
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience with C# in a MS Windows environment
Strong math background
Ability to manage priorities and communicate with a diverse customer base
SECRET Clearance
Desired :
MATLAB experience
IAT II Certification
Candidates without a IAT II Certification will be required to obtain one within 6 months of being hired.
