Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut. This is a Long-term Contract position within the healthcare and social assistance sector, offering an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in PC maintenance, hardware installation, and technical problem-solving. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth desktop operations and contributing to the efficiency of the organization's IT systems.

Responsibilities:
Perform upgrades and deployments of Windows PCs, ensuring proper imaging and seamless integration.
Maintain and troubleshoot PCs and printers to minimize downtime, addressing technical issues promptly.
Install and configure PC hardware for end-users, ensuring optimal performance.
Analyze and resolve reported issues from end-users, delivering effective solutions.
Monitor and manage the desktop support queue, adhering to organizational guidelines.
Document processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Track and update all support calls using the corporate tracking system, ensuring accurate records.
Assist with various IT-related projects as needed, collaborating with team members.
Support the migration to Windows 11, ensuring a smooth transition for users.

Requirements

Proficiency in PC desktop workstation setup and maintenance.
Strong understanding of Active Directory and its related functionalities.
Experience with desktop hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
Familiarity with desktop imaging techniques and tools.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills for tracking and managing support calls.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and team members.
