A company dedicated to enhancing the tactical communication landscape is hiring for a Senior Embedded Security engineer focusing on the Defensive side of things.
This role will be a hybrid role 3 days a week onsite in Orange County.
This role will involve designing and implementing Linux-based security architectures for embedded systems focusing on secure boot and kernel hardening. This organization has some of the top software engineers and security professionals in the area.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Cybersecurity experience
- Expertise in Linux Network security, and embedded systems security
- Knowledge of Linux threat intelligence and threat modeling
- Knowledge of Linux kernel
- Experience around C/C++, Python, Bash, or assembly for Linux environments.
Desired Skills & Experience
- One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC Security Expert (GSE), CompTIA Security+, or Linux-specific (e.g., LFCS, RHCE).
- Familiarity with Linux container security (e.g., Docker, Podman) and cloud environments
