Job Title: Data Entry Specialist - Packaging Systems

Type: W2 Contract
Location: Hybrid - Maplewood, MN
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Duration: 1-year (potential to convert to FTE)


Overview:

Join the packaging organization of an innovative, global manufacturing leader as a Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of packaging data across systems. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to work independently after onboarding. Key Responsibilities:

  • Input, validate, and maintain packaging data across multiple systems

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness by identifying data issues and escalating when needed

  • Navigate tools like Microsoft Lists, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and PLM systems to reconcile information

  • Use intermediate Excel skills to organize, format, and manipulate data efficiently

  • Own your assigned work, collaborate with teammates, and request clarifications when necessary

  • Deliver on assigned tasks with attention to deadlines and quality


Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with (or ability to learn quickly):

    • Microsoft Lists

    • SharePoint

    • PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools

  • Intermediate Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, formatting)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 for collaboration and data tracking

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication - both written and verbal

  • Confidence in raising questions or clarifying requirements

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet timelines


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interpreting packaging specs or documentation such as:

    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)

    • Technical drawings

    • Material specifications

  • Advanced Excel (macros, queries) or experience with Microsoft 365 workflows

  • Background in fast-paced or highly structured project environments
