Client Engagement Specialist Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States

Overview:
Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII) is seeking an experienced relationship-driven Client Engagement Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for one of our key clients at our Durham, NC site. This role will focus on maintaining and expanding our service relationship, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring seamless service delivery across multiple global sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in contract management, accounting, and business development within a technical or service-driven environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams at the Durham site, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our service engagement with the client, including upselling and contract renewals.
  • Lead and support contract negotiations for service agreements with primary client with emphasis on negotiating contracts, renewals, and pricing agreements that align with business objectives and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with global service centers (Tianjin, Mexico, and Durham) to coordinate client-facing initiatives and ensure consistency across sites.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to the client and internal stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Support strategic planning efforts and business reviews by providing insights into account performance and client needs.
  • Operate as a project leader without direct reports, leveraging strong influence and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Skill/Knowledge Requirements:

  • Proven experience negotiating service contracts and managing client relationships.
  • Experience in the contract manufacturing space, ideally in warranty repair (RMA) services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with financial planning, budget oversight, and project coordination preferred.
  • Basic cost accounting knowledge and proficiency in CRM tools and financial reporting systems.
  • Experience working across global teams is a plus.
  • This role is based in Durham, NC and requires on-site presence.
  • Occasional coordination with international teams in Tianjin and Mexico will be expected.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of financial project management, customer success, or business development, preferably in a technical or service-oriented industry.
