Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead and manage complex, multi-faceted initiatives across business and technology domains. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, and documenting all phases of assigned projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project management best practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and the confidence to operate with significant independence and judgment. You will oversee priority initiatives, lead special projects, and support continuous improvement across programs and operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, budget, and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

  • Oversee priority initiatives and special projects, applying industry-standard project management best practices.

  • Assess, analyze, research, and coordinate project activities across multiple business and program units.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and work plans.

  • Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and execute contingency plans.

  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and removal of barriers impacting project progress.

  • Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Track and maintain project data for critical and major initiatives, ensuring visibility and transparency.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, and updates to senior and executive stakeholders.

  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and group problem-solving sessions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

  • Contribute to the development of statements of work, project charters, design documentation, test plans, budgets, and cost estimates.

  • Support staff by initiating, sponsoring, or participating in projects to maximize success across multiple initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience researching, gathering, assembling, correlating, and analyzing information to solve complex problems and prepare concise, actionable reports.

  • 8+ years of experience developing and delivering reports that identify gaps in technology, processes, or operational effectiveness.

  • 8+ years of experience mapping business processes, identifying process improvements, and facilitating meetings and group problem-solving activities.

  • 8+ years of experience developing or contributing to project artifacts, including statements of work, charters, design documentation, test plans, risk assessments, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.

  • 8+ years of experience building and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders, supported by strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

  • 8+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including developing project plans, tracking risks and issues, and executing contingency strategies.

  • 8+ years of experience ensuring issue resolution and removing barriers to keep projects on track.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience developing written materials, including briefing documents, administrative reports, and PowerPoint presentations for senior and executive audiences.

  • 5+ years of experience summarizing and escalating issues appropriately, delivering weekly written and verbal status updates, and leading regular project status meetings.

  • Experience compiling and distributing project documentation, status reports, schedules, and budget tracking materials.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential (preferred).
