Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled End User Architect to design, implement, and optimize end-user technologies and collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco Call Manager, End User Computing (EUC), and Active Directory. This role will partner with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and scalable end-user environment that enables productivity and collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of end-user technology solutions including unified communications, identity management, and desktop services.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Cisco Call Manager to design, configure, and optimize enterprise voice and collaboration solutions.
  • Architect and enhance Active Directory environments including group policies, identity management, and integration with enterprise applications.
  • Oversee EUC strategy including endpoint lifecycle management, desktop virtualization, and mobile device integration.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to define roadmaps, standards, and best practices for end-user technologies.
  • Perform technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, and solution design documentation.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the end-user environment, providing escalation support when needed.
  • Ensure end-user solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to improve the end-user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 5 years in end-user technology architecture or design.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) including design, deployment, and administration.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory (AD design, group policies, federation, and integration).
  • Experience with EUC platforms (Windows endpoints, VDI, MDM, Intune, SCCM, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools (WebEx, Teams, Zoom) and integration with enterprise voice solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and highly available end-user solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Collaboration, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, or EUC-related certifications.
  • Experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based identity services (Azure AD, Okta).
