Job Details

Seeking an Encryption Engineer primarily focused on IBM Guardium DAM environmental maintenance and policy creation for long term contract opportunity in Maplewood MN.

As an Encryption Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our encryption platforms and ensuring the security and integrity of our cryptographic keys.

Manage and maintain the Enterprise Secure Key Lifecycle (ESKM) platforms from Utimaco.
Manage and maintain the CipherTrust Manager (CTM) platforms from Thales.
Manage and maintain the Guardium platforms from IBM, specifically Database Activity Monitoring (DAM).
Manage and maintain the Secure Key Lifecycle Management (SKLM) platforms from IBM.
Respond to operational issues and cryptographic key requests.
Partner with cloud platform engineering teams in AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and Azure Key Vault.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to encryption by providing level 3 support.

Skills:
Proven experience managing cryptographic keys for protecting data at rest, both full disk and file-level encryption.
Hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following: CipherTrust Manager (CTM), IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Enterprise Secure Key Lifecycle (ESKM), and Secure Key Lifecycle Management (SKLM).

Top two out of these would be CipherTrust Manager (CTM), IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)

Proficiency with the following cloud native services: AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and Azure Key Vault.
Strong understanding of cryptographic principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
