RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Development Technician in Milford, MI.
Summary:
The Development Technician at the Milford Proving Grounds will perform a variety of technical tasks related to vehicle integration, test & validation, development, or instrumentation. The selected candidates will be expected to perform with a high level of technical expertise. Job assignments will vary based on the responsibilities of the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development Technician will be responsible for maintaining current service procedures and practices
* Completes assignments according to work requests, on-time, with high quality
* Adheres to all Safety standards
* Actively participates in Company and BPD initiatives of the team
* Creates accurate, complete documentation associated with task execution
* Perform physical tasks common to the position
* As a Development Technician, you will assist with problem solving and the creation of Task Instructions as requested
* Maintains good housekeeping standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* At least 5 years of experience
* Computer skills - Excel, being able to navigate Microsoft office suite
* Diagnostic troubleshooting experience
* Experience in complete vehicle repairs and maintenance is required
* Experience in Vehicle diagnostic procedures according to SI, as well as test drive to verify sound repairs are completed
* Able to collaborate with others outside the work group and work effectively in a team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
