Job Description:
Field Service Technician

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Customer Evaluation: Work with the customer to determine optimal system and equipment to meet their needs.
  • Installation and Testing: Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal reception required to establish service.
  • Solution Provision: Evaluate the information provided and work with the customer to provide the best possible solution for their location.
  • System Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customers system and provide those recommendations.
  • Safety Practices: Pursue safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.
  • Material Management: Assure against loss of unused materials, ladders, and tools on a job site or office location.
  • Site Clean-Up: Collect all debris, patch any holes, and clean the site, leaving it as nice or in better condition than when started.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values.

Key Qualifications:

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong technical skills and ability to understand and work with various systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in the face of uncertainty.
  • Drivers License: Valid drivers license.
  • Education: High School degree or the equivalent; Electronic Trade School training is a plus.
  • Vehicle Requirement: Must be willing to use your own reliable vehicle that can hold a 6-foot ladder.
  • Mileage Reimbursement: Reimbursed $0.265/mi up to 400 miles.
