This position requires a strategic thinker who can work directly with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to guide architectural decisions across Convergent Invoicing, Consumption-to-Cash, and Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP BRIM and Accounts Receivable, along with a functional knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing, etc.), and understand how Salesforce changes may impact downstream SAP finance processes.
This is a business-facing role, interfacing with VP-level stakeholders, and requires excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead architect for SAP BRIM/RAR in a highly integrated, evolving enterprise landscape.
Provide architectural direction for Revenue Management, Convergent Invoicing, Subscription Billing, and Consumption-based business models.
Analyze how upstream changes in Salesforce (CPQ/Revenue Cloud) impact downstream finance processes in SAP.
Collaborate closely with business leaders in Finance and Accounting to capture requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
Align SAP and Salesforce process designs to support standardized, out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible.
Represent the finance architecture in cross-functional design discussions and negotiate with upstream product teams to mitigate risks and disruptions.
Provide guidance and oversight during the design, development, and deployment phases of the program.
Contribute to roadmap development and provide strategic input on how to scale the SAP and Salesforce ecosystems effectively.
Support impact assessments and change management related to process or system updates
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong expertise in SAP BRIM/RAR, including Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, and Revenue Accounting.
Solid understanding of Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud functional knowledge is sufficient; deep technical expertise not required.
Experience working in consumption-based or subscription billing environments.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into system design while protecting financial process integrity.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills must be confident presenting to and challenging VP-level leaders and technical peers.
Previous experience supporting large-scale Salesforce or SAP transformation projects, especially involving finance systems integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a high-growth or acquisition-heavy organization with evolving systems and business processes.
Familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) or other modern Salesforce billing platforms.
Additional Notes:
This is not a technical engineering or development role candidates must have a solution architecture and business-facing mindset.
Must be comfortable challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and driving alignment across business and technical teams.
