Job Title: Technical Support Specialist AI Gateway & GitHub Copilot

Location: Alpharetta, GA || Berkeley Heights, NJ || Frisco, TX (HYBRID)

Role Overview
The AI Center of Excellence is seeking an Onshore Technical Support Specialist to support and sustain two enterprise AI platforms: the AI Gateway (internal reverse proxy for LLM APIs) and GitHub Copilot (IDE-integrated AI coding assistant). This role will provide direct support to the developer community, ensuring reliable adoption, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of these AI platforms.
Required Skillset &Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, or engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python scripting and working with REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and VS Code.
  • Exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI/ML development tools.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first line of support for developers using GitHub Copilot and the AI Gateway.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API usage errors, connectivity issues, and tooling integration problems.
  • Manage user provisioning, access control, and role-based permissions.
  • Coordinate with platform owners and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and FAQs for developer reference.
  • Communicate effectively through Teams, ticketing systems, and status reports.
  • Contribute to lightweight tooling enhancements and automation scripts to improve platform efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and governance practices.
  • Experience supporting platforms in large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with API proxy tools (e.g., Apigee, Kong).
