Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Fremont, California. In this role, you will create regulatory-compliant product labeling and contribute to both new product development as well as sustaining design changes.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain end-user regulatory-compliant product labeling to support business needs.
Collaborate on label design, artwork creation, and process improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve obstacles effectively.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including quality plans and compliance projects.
Prepare for internal and external audits by gathering required documentation and providing support to audit teams.
Manage recertification and compliance-related projects, coordinating with stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
Ensure all technical documents, including SOPs and work instructions, meet quality standards and are tailored for the intended audience.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders through project plans, summaries, and prioritization of tasks.
Uphold quality standards by adhering to Good Documentation Practices and maintaining required training.
Conduct reviews and audits of technical publications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Graphics, Language, or equivalent experience; advanced degrees may count towards experience.
2-4 years of relevant experience in technical writing or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Expertise in Adobe Suite tools, including InDesign, FrameMaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Familiarity with database-driven labeling systems such as Prisym ID, Label View, Loftware, Bartender, Nice Label, or Easy Label.
Experience in website design and testing is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight timelines.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and providing updates.
