Title: Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician
Level: Mid-Level
Reports To: Plant Engineer
Location: Chatham, NY (on-site required)

Shift Information (open opening for each shift)

• Swing Shift: Alternates weekly between
• Week 1: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Week 2: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
• OR
• Straight 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment
• Knowledge of lubrication principles and proper application techniques
• Ability to perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), FMEA, and Analytical Troubleshooting
• Comfortable reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
• Skilled in using shop tools such as lathes, drills, and milling machines

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Industrial or military experience in maintenance
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and motor/industrial controls
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders and lifts, and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Comfortable working independently on rotating shifts, including overtime and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and precision maintenance across plant equipment
• Lead or support small projects for equipment upgrades or improvements
• Document maintenance tasks in detail to build a strong data history
• Support safety initiatives and enforce proper housekeeping standards
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and install/repair AC/DC drives and motors
• Fabricate and install electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
• Participate in and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and the Performance System
