This role is onsite in Omaha, NE, USA
This role requires working onsite, 5 days a week, in Omaha, NE, USA.
If the selected candidate is relocating, they must be onsite and ready to work from Day 1.
We are seeking a Senior BASIS resource to support our cloud and on-prem SAP implementations. Candidate will manage and administer SAP systems including S/4HANA, MDG, BTP, PI/PO, IS, BW, Datasphere, SAC, Solution Manager, and other native SAP applications.

• Supporting complex environments consisting of Sandbox, Development, Test, QA, and Production systems.
  
• Performance monitoring, fine tuning, load testing of SAP applications.
  
• Troubleshooting SAP startup and hung issues.
  
• Configure SSL setup, staging the parameters and applying SSL certificate.
  
• Experience of handling SAP BASIS deliverables at least in one full lifecycle of S/4HANA cloud migration project
  
• SAP OS/DB Migration and S4HANA cloud Certification is preferred
  
• System Landscape Design: This includes the design and documentation of the target system landscape for the S/4HANA migration project, which outlines the different system components, environments, and interacting interfaces
  
• IS-Utilities domain experience
  
• System Sizing: This involves determining the hardware and software requirements for the S/4HANA cloud migration project
  
• System Configuration: This includes configuring the SAP system components, such as the SAP NetWeaver Application Server, database, and SAP Solution Manager to meet the requirements of the S/4HANA migration project.
  
• Technical System Preparation: This involves performing the necessary technical activities to prepare the SAP system ready for migration to S/4HANA, such as System Refresh of existing landscape, upgrading needed system components, applying patches, and ensuring system readiness.
  
• System Upgrade and Migration: This includes performing the actual migration of the SAP system to S/4HANA.Provide needed assistance to technical and functional teams to completed system testing and user acceptance testing.
  
• Documentation: Throughout the project, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation related to the SAP system and migration project, including system design documents, configuration documents, and migration plans
  
• Hypercare Support: After the migration is complete, you will be responsible for Hypercare support to ensure stability and performance and provide support as needed to resolve any issues that arise.
  
• Expertise on SAP business objects analytics and dashboard designer tools
  
• Expertise on SAP Open Text and associated SAP Data archiving and content repository components
  
• Strong technical skills in installation, upgrade, and migration of SAP system in a Windows/Linux/SQL/HANA environment
  
• Setup and support Single Sign-on.
  
• Monitor overall production systems performance and raise alarms to avoid production downtime.
  
• Manage and configures database management systems.
  
• Manage technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
  
• Configures new and existing alerts; determines thresholds of alerts within monitoring systems as well as third party monitoring systems.
  
• Resolves system problems through research and collaboration with other IT Teams and apply the appropriate course of action.
  

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of CALM for change management and alerting. Also desire someone that can support SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, and other SaaS implementations.
  
• Experience Level: Senior level, 8+ years of experience in ABAP and related SAP technologies.
  

Desired Profile:

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP BASIS administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
  
• Proven ability to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, migrations, and patching processes as it relates to private cloud, public cloud, and on-prem systems.
  
• Very good communication skills.
  
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology is a plus.
  
• Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks is a plus.
  
• Experience with Linux and relational databases is also preferred.
