Core Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Designing and implementing network infrastructure, including physical and logical network architectures, ensuring they meet the organization's needs.
Configuration and Management:
Configuring and managing network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring they function correctly
Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitoring network performance, identifying potential issues, and proactively maintaining the network to ensure uptime and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
Network Security:
Implementing and maintaining network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against cyber threats.
Documentation:
Maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Working with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure network solutions meet business needs and comply with industry standards.
