Job Description:
Pay Range: $60.11hr - $76.74hr
  • The SOC Validation Engineer will be responsible for driving technical innovation, improving product development and validation capabilities, and supporting SOC bring-up, validation, and production.
  • The role requires strong collaboration across multiple teams and a hands-on approach to debugging and optimizing hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical innovation to enhance AMD s product development and validation capabilities, including tool and script development and methodology improvement.
  • Debug issues identified during SOC bring-up, validation, and production phases.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely feature validation and optimization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Engage with software and hardware modeling frameworks.
  • Lead and promote collaborative efforts across engineering teams.
Experience:
  • Experience with high-speed protocols such as USB, DisplayPort, and PCIe.
  • Strong understanding of debug techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as C, C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment including protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with board and platform-level debugging, including sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
