Job Description: This position is for a government client.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Developer. This developer will play a critical role in ensuring delivery milestones are met while maintaining and enhancing production systems. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in PL/SQL and T-SQL, with a deep understanding of data warehouse concepts, star schema design, and the Kimball methodology.

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years of progressive experience in data warehousing and data integration
Demonstrated experience in leading the successful delivery of data products
Proficiency and practical understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling concepts and their application
Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing and analysis and ability at architecting and implementing data solutions leveraging Azure data services and to design and implement sophisticated data integration solutions for both batch and real-time streaming sources
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows Responsibilities
The Data Warehouse Developer will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and support of our data warehousing solutions
This position demands a strong background in SQL analysis, database tuning, and optimization, with a preference for experience in data modeling using the Kimball methodology.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data warehousing solutions
Develop ETL jobs using ODI to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
Perform performance tuning of the data warehouse, ETL jobs, and SQL queries for optimal performance.
Experience with SSIS packages, SSRS
Develop and maintain data models using Kimball methodology.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues to support data operations
Work with the development team to integrate data warehouse solutions with other enterprise systems
