Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Drive all aspects of technology delivery by building and managing highly efficient Agile software development teams. Lead Software Engineers who solve business problems through innovative engineering practices, guiding the team to deliver technical solutions leveraging cloud native technologies following modern event driven microservices architecture. Identify and troubleshoot both infrastructure- and application code-related issues. Manage multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations, and act as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus across competing project objectives. Build strong relationships with the product partners, and influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams. Provide leadership and coaching in order to develop a diverse and inclusive culture within the organization. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel (to United Kingdom and India) to oversee team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus nine (9) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineering Director/Manager, Lead Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Systems Engineer/Architect, Software Developer/Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Thought Machine Vault Smart Contracts development; Thought Machine Vault Observability; Thought Machine Vault Cloud Infrastructure configuration; and Grafana Observability Stack. This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: Linux; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Apache Kafka; Docker; J2EE; Jenkins; Spring; Hibernate; Java; Python; Selenium; Shell Scripting; SQL; XML; Bootstrap; REST; Maven; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; Dynatrace; Splunk; GIT; Cucumber; Junit; Automated Testing; Blackbox Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; and White Box Testing.
