Job Details

Title: Cyber Security Project Manager
Location: Philadelphia, PA (onsite)
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager who will be responsible for managing one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT Information Security Projects. Assigned projects range from Network and Host Visibility, E-mail Security, Data Protection, Reliability Engineering and more.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Project Manage each project's scope and timeline.
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
  • Be the point of contact for external communication, e.g., external departments and stakeholders.
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
  • Plan scrum implementations.
  • Implement changes and steps to increase the team's productivity.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and scrum master's to improve efficiency.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
  • Guide development teams to a higher level of Scrum maturity.
  • Foster a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it.
  • Create and track end to end project plan in conjunction with the project lead and project team.
  • Track tasks and milestones across all parties, including vendors.
  • Coordinate, manage and drive test organization activities.
  • Facilitate bug triage, manage bug lists across vendors, track issue resolution with the project team.
  • Coordinate change request generation and tracking.
  • Make project scheduling decisions in conjunction with the project lead or facilitate conversations necessary for decision making.
  • Report on project's progress as required by management.
  • Identify and manage critical path and risk areas and create risk response and mitigation plans.
  • Report weekly (or as necessary) on any risks/issues.
  • Escalate issues as required to unblock open issues.
  • Work with other project managers to track and manage inter-project dependencies.
  • Communicate updates on major milestones, escalations and status to project sponsor, stakeholders, and management.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
