This position will support space vehicle engineering, assembly, integration, and test activities for all of the government program office's major satellite programs. Supports a Government program office in a space vehicle engineering capacity for planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of systems acquisitions.
- Assisting the Government in monitoring Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) of multiple satellites at contractor facilities.
- Provide support to Government customer by evaluating space vehicle designs, overseeing space vehicle development efforts, and assessing space vehicle requirements compliance through verification activities.
- Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, briefs Government and industry as required.
- Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables to ensure content, accuracy, and sufficiency to meet program requirements and objectives.
- Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings between developers and COTR.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in engineering or business and relevant space vehicle or satellite AI&T experience.
- Experience with how NRO or space satellite systems are acquired.
- The job requires familiarity with NRO organization, processes, and satellite systems.
- Experience with how space systems are designed, specified, developed, manufactured, and tested.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment.
- TS/SCI with polygraph.
