Manager of Software Engineering


Location: Louisville, CO | Schedule: Hybrid (1 day onsite, Tuesdays)
Salary: $122K-$163K + 10% bonus | Type: Full-time, Direct Hire


Are you a hands-on technical leader passionate about building high-impact software solutions? We're looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a talented team through the full product development lifecycle-while contributing up to 50% of your time to writing production-quality code.


In this role, you'll collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to deliver modern, scalable solutions on AWS using Angular (front end) and Java (back end). You'll champion Agile best practices, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven decisions.



<>What You'll Do</>

  • Design, code, and ship high-quality software using Angular, Java, and AWS services (RDS, Elastic Search, Redis, MongoDB, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.).

  • Lead and mentor developers, fostering growth and technical excellence.

  • Drive Agile practices and modern delivery pipelines for high-availability platforms.

  • Collaborate across teams to plan releases, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.

  • Respond to production incidents and provide technical resolutions.



<>What We're Looking For</>

  • 3+ years of software development management experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular, Java, and AWS.

  • Background in container orchestration and deployment.

  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and conduct code reviews.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.


Bonus Points For:



  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

  • Familiarity with serverless orchestration patterns and observability tools.

  • Agile certifications and global team experience.
