This role is fully on-site in San Francisco. We're moving quickly and looking to bring on multiple builders this month!

Software Builder (San Francisco In-Person)

Full-Time | High-Speed Team | Tech Stack: TypeScript, AWS, SQL, React, Node.js

We're on the hunt for engineers who thrive in fast-moving, low-ego environments and want to have a measurable impact from day one. The ideal teammate is someone who's shipped production code in real-world scenarios, cares about getting things right and out the door, and enjoys wearing multiple hats in a tightly knit crew.

We're especially drawn to folks who've helped scale a product early on, jumped into the unknown, and figured it out as they went. Titles aren't important-what you've built and how you work is.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON BENEFITS:

Candidates from top 20 computer science programs will be given priority.

Can sponsor TN. Can also accept transfers and H1 sponsorship, but need the candidates to have authorization to work in person immediately upon hiring (OPT etc is ok). The candidate needs to be exceptional.

Looking for someone who has 3 -10 years of experience of relevant development experience. Rare exceptions are made for individuals with a demonstrated history of previous startups / founders, self-starters with unconventional paths and outs who have shipped exceptional products. We can take on a more junior engineer if they're exceptional. Career growth commensurate with number of years in industry (e.g. promotions, increase in responsibilities)

Work experience

Experience at companies with excellent engineering and/or product reputations (i.e.Ramp, Cruise, Brex, Rippling, Snorkel, etc.)

Experience at early-stage startup as founder, founding engineer, or early engineer

Education - Top CS Bachelor

What You'll Be Doing:

Contributing across the stack-frontend, backend, infrastructure

Shipping iteratively while keeping quality high

Talking directly to end users to make the product better

Working closely with a product-minded engineering team in-office (3 5 days/wk)

Tech Environment:

We build with TypeScript, AWS, SQL, React, and Node.js.

Bonus if you're already fluent, but we care more about learning velocity than exact match.

Helpful Signals (Not Hard Requirements):

2+ years writing production code

Experience at a small but serious tech company (< 100 ppl)

High standards, fast output, and thoughtful decisions

Comfort navigating ambiguity, solving problems quickly

Bonus if you've built from scratch, competed, or led before (startups, hackathons, etc.)
