Role: Sr. UX Content Strategist

2. B2B and B2C Experience working on projects for internal and external audiences
Specified productivity speed/number of tasks/amount of material: 10+ productions
Time frame for completion: Duration: 18 month w2 contract
Hybrid: 3 days onsite in NYC, NY (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) - 2 days remote

Description
As a member of the Human Centered Design Team, this individual is responsible for developing and refining content strategies that align with user needs and business goals. In addition, the develop and draft marketing and instructional copy for the digital experience of an exciting new direct to consumer suite of products. Ensures that copy is consistent with overall strategic goals of the organization and the appropriate business unit. Will be embedded day to day alongside UX designers in our agile development teams, working quickly within Figma and across multiple teams for review and coordination.
We're looking for a dynamic, passionate, UX Content Strategist and Writer who wants the opportunity to tell great stories for one of the most respected, purpose-driven brands in the world-Prudential. The best candidate will have the ability and desire to take complicated financial services content and translate it into simple, concise, compelling copy that inspires consumer audiences to take action. This position will be part of the Human Centered Design Team with a specific focus on our business lines, supporting their go-to-market efforts for a new direct-to-consumer line of products.
As such this UX Content Writer must possess the ability to drive and work independently, collaborate with creative and business partners to concept and execute, yet understand how to take creative direction with humility.
Mandatories
Writing Microcopy. Craft clear and concise text for interface elements to guide users effectively.
Demonstrated experience writing in multiple tones
Ability to write across multiple lines of business for various projects simultaneously
A portfolio with demonstrated expertise writing D2C sales copy
This role is embedded within the CX Design team and collaborates heavily with multiple disciplines to make recommendations based on business needs and with best UX practices in mind.
An understanding of mobile UX copy. This role with collaborate heavily with the UX writing team and the ideal candidate will need to make recommendations to help marketing and UX messaging sync for maximum impact
Responsibilities
Develop and refine content strategies that align with user needs and business goals.
Brainstorm, strategize, and create content that promotes products and services
Write clear, concise, and user-centric copy for various digital platforms. Consult with cross-functional team members and creative leaders to create great copy
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes and prototypes.
Conduct user research and testing to inform content decisions.
Ensure creative material is well-researched, effective and consistent with goals and brand standards
Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.7+ years Content strategy, UX writing and copywriting experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing writing samples and content strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated conceptual ability in digital and offline channels
Ability to differentiate between an idea and an execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency in FIGMA and MIRO
2+ years UX experience
Ability to create and adhere to copy styles/standards
Detail oriented, sound writing/editorial judgment
Clear, concise, and confident verbal communication skills
Intellectual curiosity and a team-oriented, collaborative spirit

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
