Title: Benefits Specialist
Location: Linden ,NJ (Onsite ,Part time, M-F, 8-12pm)
Contract: 3+ Month
Job Description:
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration and support of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement and wellness. This role serves as a key point of contact for external vendors to ensure benefits are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented & customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer day-to-day benefits operations, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA notifications.
- Maintain accurate benefits records in the HRIS and with third-party vendors; audit data regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with benefits reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and adjustments.
Qualifications:
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
