Job Title: Technical Lead - GenAI Solutions

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Skill sets - Technical delivery and engineering execution of Gen AI solutions (may include data science and automation aspects as well)

Focus Areas -- Lead the pod's day-to-day development & technical discussions.

- Translate product/project requirements into technical solutions.

- Drive design decisions and mobile tech leads.

- Directly mentor developers & engineers.

- Partnership & Collaboration.

- Attend sprint planning with Tech Lead/Engineering Lead in staff-level meetings supporting discovery phase of initiatives.

- Align with product managers on tech-based Engagement Lead in staff-level meetings.

- Lead technical design decisions and mobile tech leads.

- Manage code reviews, handle modules, and ensure engineering consistency.

- Own delivery of features in a timely manner, partnering, and velocity tracking.

- Drive A/B testing, drive quality, and drive velocity metrics.

- Foster a culture of growth mindset, technical excellence, strategic thinking, learning from failure, and continuous improvement.

- Support onboarding and mentorship of Sdear 1 and Sdear 2 engineers.

- Engage with business stakeholders who need [sic] (Entire Engagement Level).

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Expectations- Work closely with the Tech Chapter Lead and Engagement Lead to align tech decisions with the AI platform strategy, business plans, and cross-team dependencies.

- Represent the pod in technical forums, discussions, and architecture reviews.

- Ensure timely updates to the Engagement Lead on technical decisions and stakeholder communications.

Technical Skills Engineering & Architecture- Strong expertise in client-side development, including service handling of streams, environment variables, and service configurations.

- Proficiency in GCDS guidelines for AI/ML and microservices.

- Familiarity with team-based access control, CI/CD, security, and regulatory governance.

- Ability to manage API specifications and service integrations across platforms.

AI & Agents Systems- Experience designing and developing conversational agents and multi-agent systems.

- Capable of developing agent workflows, integrate systems, and handling vertical data sources.

- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns and enables inference strategies.

- Understanding trade-offs between different models (e.g., services vs. on-device).

Security & Compliance- Awareness of enterprise data privacy and cybersecurity standards.

- Compliance understanding of user interactions and logs, with their boundaries for data retention and observability.

Testing & Observability- Use of observability tools for tracing, logging, and performance monitoring.

- Familiarity with API testing and authentication flows across service layers.
