Who we are:

We're on a mission to build the best platform in the world for engineers to understand and scale their systems, applications, and teams. We operate at high scale-trillions of data points per day-allowing for seamless collaboration and problem-solving among Dev, Ops and Security teams globally for tens of thousands of companies. Our engineering culture values pragmatism, honesty, and simplicity to solve hard problems the right way.

The Customer Trust team is the face of Datadog's security organization. Members of the Customer Trust team interact directly with our customers, and translate customer security and compliance requirements into the overall Datadog information security program. You will support the sales organization in the procurement phase and ongoing vendor management program by responding to customer security questionnaires, evidence requests, and meeting with security teams from around the world to champion Datadog's security practices and procedures. You'll work on challenging projects, make an impact, and grow as an analyst.

Datadog is building a world class security team to keep our employees and end users safe from real world threats. You will help us face the challenges presented by our diverse user base and a constantly changing security landscape.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with the sales organization to address our customers' security needs, including addressing security questionnaires and customer calls for both customers and prospects
  • Assist with improving and maintaining Datadog's customer-facing security page
  • Collaborate across a 10-person team, as well as cross-team, and become an expert on Datadog's security practices
  • Analyze customer security requirements and roadmaps to help steer security features for Datadog

Who you are:
  • You have a BS in information security, information systems management, or computer science or equivalent experience in compliance, information security policy, information security operations and/or information security consulting
  • You have had exposure to:
    • One or more compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
    • Salespeople, the sales process, sales reporting, and the general nature of sales
    • The current privacy landscape and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
    • Bonus: 3rd party tools similar to Safebase, Loopio, Jira, and Salesforce
  • You possess the ability to own and manage multiple tasks and high priority projects
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can effectively synthesize technical information and translate it into higher level responses
  • You are extremely meticulous and value correctness, knowing that your output not only represents your team, but Datadog as a whole
  • You are a team player who enjoys working with others

Benefits and Growth:
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our internal panel discussions
  • Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
