Job Details
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Bare Metal Senior Consultant to lead the buildout of new WebScale clusters and optimize deployment processes across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in OpenShift (OCP), Git, Ansible, and RH Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM) to ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure infrastructure deployments.
This is a hands-on senior-level role requiring both technical depth and strong collaboration skills within complex enterprise ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and configuration of OpenShift clusters on bare metal infrastructure.
- Implement and manage WebScale cluster architecture to support enterprise workloads.
- Utilize Ansible automation for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of OCP environments.
- Leverage Git-based workflows for configuration management, version control, and automation content delivery.
- Configure and optimize RH Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM) for multi-cluster governance and policy enforcement.
- Troubleshoot cluster deployment, networking, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure consistent build and release processes.
- Document deployment steps, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks for repeatable delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with RH OpenShift (OCP) in production environments.
- Expert-level Git skills for automation, repository management, and CI/CD integrations.
- Strong Ansible experience for automation scripting, playbook creation, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Proven expertise in RHACM (RH Advanced Cluster Management) for OpenShift.
- Experience building and managing bare metal OpenShift clusters in enterprise-scale environments.
- Solid understanding of Linux (RHEL), containerization, and Kubernetes fundamentals.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical delivery and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- RH Certified Specialist in OpenShift or equivalent certification.
- Experience with OpenShift GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
- Familiarity with networking, storage, and security configuration in bare metal clusters.
- Exposure to cloud-native observability and monitoring tools
