Position Overview

The Director of Enterprise Applications will lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of the organization’s enterprise application landscape, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Dynamics FO) and enterprise data management. This leader ensures that business systems align with organizational goals, support growth, enable operational excellence, and deliver actionable insights through high-quality data and efficient end-to-end processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise applications team, overseeing system architecture, integrations, development standards, and full application lifecycle management.

  • Serve as the product owner for Dynamics 365 FO, ensuring alignment with Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing operations.

  • Drive the enterprise data strategy, ensuring accuracy, consistency, governance, and accessibility across all core systems.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver technology solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making.

  • Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and analytics teams to maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise systems.

  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and service-level performance for key technology partners.

  • Oversee change management, training, and user adoption initiatives for new systems, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure application performance, business impact, and team effectiveness.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise applications leadership roles.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) and related Microsoft ecosystem tools (Power Platform, Azure).

  • Experience in data governance, data integration, and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Power BI).

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Manufacturing or industrial sector experience strongly preferred.
