Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to support a large retail environment in their ongoing POS system rollout and store hardware validation efforts. This role will be based in Marlborough, MA, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform hardware validation and testing in a lab environment.
Support the POS (Point of Sale) rollout by ensuring all store equipment is tested and functional.
Work with a variety of store devices including:
- Handheld equipment (e.g., scanners, mobile devices)
- Printers
- Cameras
- Other peripherals and store technology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless hardware integration and deployment.
Document test results and assist in resolving any hardware compatibility or performance issues.

Required Skills:

Experience with hardware validation, preferably in a retail or store environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and related peripherals.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a lab setting and follow test protocols.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a large retail or enterprise environment.
Knowledge of store infrastructure and rollout logistics.
