We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to support a large retail environment in their ongoing POS system rollout and store hardware validation efforts. This role will be based in Marlborough, MA, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hardware validation and testing in a lab environment.

  • Support the POS (Point of Sale) rollout by ensuring all store equipment is tested and functional.

  • Work with a variety of store devices including:

    • Handheld equipment (e.g., scanners, mobile devices)

    • Printers

    • Cameras

    • Other peripherals and store technology

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless hardware integration and deployment.

  • Document test results and assist in resolving any hardware compatibility or performance issues.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with hardware validation, preferably in a retail or store environment.

  • Familiarity with POS systems and related peripherals.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a lab setting and follow test protocols.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a large retail or enterprise environment.

  • Knowledge of store infrastructure and rollout logistics.
