Job Description
A growing IT consulting company is looking for their next engineering team member. They are hiring for a Senior .NET engineer to help lead a migration effort from WPF/ASP.NET to .NET Core and developing current and future projects that provide risk mitigation tools for their clients in the insurance industry. This role will be fully remote (operating in EST) and full-time.
Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience operating in a professional development setting using C#, .NET Core, React, Typescript, and Azure. Candidates also must have exposure to desktop technologies such as WPF, ASP.NET, MVC and AngularJS.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional development experience with C# and .NET Core
- Familiarity working with legacy technologies such as WPF or ASP.NET MVC
- 5+ years of experience working with frontend technology (ex. Angular/React)
- Strong abilities with Azure including AppServices and Function apps.
- Problem-solving mentality
- Ability to lead paired programming sessions and mentor junior engineers.
- BS in Computer Science, or similar background.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
