Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the transformation and implementation of a critical batch processing within the compliance tech org in the bank
- Work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality ETL Informatica code, develop Unix scripts and scalable database systems
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Unix environment and Shell scripting
- 10+ years professional experience developing solutions in ETL Informatica (recent experience in version 10.5.2.)
- Experience with Oracle database and query performance optimizations
- Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions
- Strong in PL/SQL, stored procedures
- Experience with Oracle 19c
- Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.) Framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working
- Experience with domain driven design
- Distributed systems experience
- Relevant industry (Compliance, Entity/Transaction Scanning etc.) experience
- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies
- Experience with JIR
- Interpersonal skills with a proven track record of interacting with different groups and various levels of a large organization
- Hands on architect and developer with the ability to drive design and implementation initiatives
