As a Technical Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that clean energy initiatives are effectively translated into scalable, high-quality software solutions. Your work will directly support the development and reporting of clean energy programs, aligning with regulatory requirements and public service commission expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of program enhancements.
- Facilitate user requirement workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and QA teams to guide solutions from concept through deployment.
- Analyze and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Organize and prioritize user stories for Agile development sprints.
- Support testing efforts by creating test plans, writing test scripts, and logging defects.
- Prepare system documentation, including process flows, customer journey maps, and business process models.
- Conduct user research, experience mapping, wireframing, and usability testing to inform product design.
- Apply critical thinking to diagnose and resolve complex system and process issues.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools to support evolving program needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and decompose complex business processes.
- Proficiency in creating business process documentation and workflows.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn new systems and technologies independently.
