RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior IT Specialist in Miami, FL.

Summary:
As a Junior IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical support to our staff. You will work closely with senior IT professionals to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and maintain documentation of our IT environment. This position requires strong documentation experience and technical aptitude to effectively support our enterprise-level operations.

Responsibilities:
* Junior IT Specialist will provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Assist in the maintenance and administration of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications
* Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement and support IT initiatives and projects
* Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
* As a Junior IT Specialist, you will assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions
* Monitor system performance and security to proactively identify and address potential issues
* Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
* Previous experience in a technical support role or IT environment
* Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
* Technical aptitude with knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts
* Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems and technologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Must be able to work onsite in Miami, FL, 5 days per week

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
